On this connector page we're going to take a look at the Oracle Direct Connector.
The Oracle Direct connector is a direct connection to the Oracle Database.

Creating the connector
To create the connector, leave open solutions and select:
- Tools > Settings > Connector [TAB] > Add.
- Select: "Oracle Direct"
- Click OK
The Connector properties
|Datasource name||Textbox||This is the name of the datasource that you are creating, we advise to give it a descriptive and appropriate name.|
|Data Source||Textbox||The hostname or ip address of the server where the Oracle Database installation is running.|
|User ID||Textbox||The username of the Oracle Database.|
|Password||Textbox||The password of the Oracle Database.|
|Datasource name||Oracle Direct Connector|
